Save the Water Fundraiser
save the water water contamination research

June, 2012 Newsletter

Greetings from the Save the Water™ staff,

Save the Water™ is pleased to announce a new more informative homepage, a brand new internet fundraising campaign, 53 news postings for the month of May, tons of materials added to the educational department, and an agreement signed with the Girl Scouts for a field trip featuring “A day in the life of a scientist” [DILOS program]. These are some of the accomplishments for the past month.

In the news postings on the STW™ web site you will find articles about: fracking, viruses in water, arsenic contamination, pipeline oil spill in Canada, and the global water crisis. These are very interesting articles that made the water news last month.

In the upcoming month we want to bring your attention to articles about: chemical contamination in our drinking water and the health affects they cause. We have begun our weekly Save the Water™ 101 series which covers in depth material on specific chemical contaminants and we will continue with illustrated articles on fracking and fluoride, two of the most talked about issues today.

STW™ is moving at a fast pace, we need you to join us with your generosity so that we may continue our work. Your donation of any amount will add up and go a long way towards our final goal of a local Hollywood, Florida office and laboratory. Explanation of how funds will be used from the fundraising campaign can be found on the homepage.

We have had a record number of visitors to our website and followers and alliances are growing daily. At the bottom of each page there is a map. clicking on the map, will give you details about the number of visitors in a time period and where they are coming from.

The STW™ Store has over one hundred merchants to choose from, and when you make a purchase using the links on the STW™ Store we make a small commission that goes directly to funding the lab and educational program.

We encourage you to purchase a water filter for your home to insure that the water your family is drinking and cooking with is of the best quality possible. We offer Aquasana filters on the STW™ Store which we have evaluated and consider the best value and quality.

Again, we need your donations, so please go to the donate button and use your credit/debit card or PayPal. Gift-in-kind donations are accepted. Please contact us for instructions.
