For the urban population, the prospects for healthy water aren’t simple. Industries, medical wastes, and other urban dwellers bombard urban dwellers with waste. Each human consumes a certain amount of resources and produces waste proportional to consumption. Those who consume more produce more waste.
The solution involves both individual and collective collaboration. This may seem a contradiction, but it isn’t. As an individual, each individual has a responsibility to do his or her part to live on this earth in a sustainable way, including reducing single-use plastic waste.
As a group, we must work together to create the awareness that this precious resource demands to create a “zero discharge ecology” and a mentality that is constantly moving towards the goal of a “sustainable earth with clean water for all”. This section will feature weekly articles regarding “World water day everyday”.
