Seabin Solves Water Pollution Problems in Floating Docks in Marinas, Yacht Clubs, and Ports

Two Australians launched a crowdfunding campaign for a simple, automated marina rubbish collector, Seabin. The Seabin is mounted to places where there are not huge waves, such as floating docks in marina, yacht clubs, and ports. The seabins suck in water and remove “contaminants like plastic, paper, fuel, oil and detergents in the process.” The funding goal is $230,000. Besides collecting trash, the inventors said that the device would also remind people of the consequences of polluting. Read more here:
