After months of delays, the state health department of New York notified the public of a toxic chemical contamination in Hoosick Falls’ water system. Documents show that the EPA was aware of the contamination, yet the information was never forwarded to the correction regional administrator. The contaminant is called PFOA and is found in non-stick coatings.
