Gaza has been experiencing rather serious water crises as of late, mainly due to numerous power cuts. And as summer is approaching, the region’s water scarcity crisis threatens to get worse because of successive Israeli military assaults – part of a long-lasting clash. Experts describe the situation as catastrophic since water resources in the region have arrived at alarming levels of pollution. In addition, the underground aquifers of Gaza continue to increase in salinity. One mother explained, “The norm is not to have water during the day.
