Vivian Zhong, a MIT undergraduate, recently interviewed a researcher at Abdul Latif Jameel World Water and Food Security Lab (J-WAFS), Renee Robins. The lab funds projects such as the development of a nanosensor for contaminant detection and bioengineering nitrogen fixation. Robins states how J-WAFS encourages improvement and innovation in the water sector. She goes on to say that the public should be more aware of the condition of the water around them.
