Looking at 2016’s Water Contamination Issues Inside the U.S.

A look back at water contamination issues in 2016 shows that drinking water contamination problems span across America. Schools in Wisconsin, Ohio, Oregon, and Michigan tested and found dangerous metals in the schools’ water, including lead. Some contamination resulted from aging infrastructure. However, among others, fracking, privatizing water management, and draining chemicals improperly also caused water contamination. Areas in Louisiana, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Illinois also discovered dangerous substances in water. Read more about 2016’s water issues here.
