Hyderabad’s Water Problems to Get Worse as Summer Creeps Closer

In Hyderabad, India, water problems are expected to get worse by summer. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) planned to lay pipelines to construct service reservoirs and to construct distribution networks, but these plans have been delayed. These works were intended to serve 11 peripherals in GHMC’s area. A lack of workers and the rainy season posed some constraints. The project is aimed at supplying 16 million gallons of water per day.
