A broken sewer pipe “accidentally” released 14,000 gallons of “raw sewage” into a storm water system that goes into the Indian River Lagoon, according to authorities. The release was not stopped for 4 hours. In November, another city had sewage that was released into Eau Gallie River. That city was fined $4,000 for the 400,000 gallons of raw sewage released.
