Site Overview

Save the Water™ (STW™) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the world water crisis through excellence in water science research and by forming alliances with organizations, scientists, universities, media, businesses, and governments around the world to promote awareness of water contamination issues.

STW™ through its AquaSquad™ in cooperation with other water sector nonprofits provides water analysis for new and existing drinking water sources to identify and mark those sources as safe or unsafe for consumption.

It is crucial that all sources of drinking water, whether tap water here in the U.S. or wells and surface water sources in developing countries are analyzed for toxic contaminants to prevent water borne sickness and disease. The What We Do page explains how STW™ accomplishes cleaner water for all across all economic levels of humanity.

STW™ also engages in humanitarian and scientific projects as required and funded individually. Currently, we have humanitarian project proposals for Haiti,
Himalayas , and Trinidad. STW™ also submitted a scientific proposal for the Horizon oil spill.

Navigate our web site to read about Who We Are, Board of Directors and Officers, as well as Past Contributors. The Educational Resources page is a great source of water information for all ages. From this page students and researchers can review our vast list of water sector links. The daily News Postings will keep you current on water issues important to you and your family about the quality and availability of this most valuable resource.

Are you passionate about preserving our planet’s limited freshwater supply and every one’s right to have clean drinking water? If yes, then a position with STW™ may be right for you. We seek volunteer help for fundraising events, sponsored walks, writing, editing, social media, and more. Volunteers can participate from home anywhere in the world. For example, become a member of the AquaSquad™ or a writer of the STW™ Newsletter.
